What a run Wolves are on at the moment.
It is now 11 games in a row unbeaten for the Midlands outfit, and they are back up to sixth after their 2-2 draw away at Brighton. That now leaves them just five points off Chelsea in fourth place.
The match at the Amex Stadium will have had Nuno Espirito Santo frustrated in parts, though, with Wolves conceding twice in two minutes after Diogo Jota had opened the scoring. Still, it is another point to add to the tally this term for the Molineux club.
It was a good day for Jota, who got himself on the scoresheet twice. Some of the club’s supporters were clearly delighted with him.
Indeed, it was a great performance from the former Porto man. He was on scoresheet twice on the day, and they were actually his first goals since September, when he bagged against Crystal Palace.
However, it wasn’t all perfect from the 23-year-old. After he had netted his first, and before the Seagulls equalised, he had a great opportunity to put his team in a very comfortable position. In the end, though, he waited a fraction too long and made it easier for Mathew Ryan to save.
Despite him scoring twice, the Wolves supporters were not ready to forget that miss.
That chance was a crucial moment, and had he been more lethal in front of the target, it would have changed the game.
There was more positivity than negativity here though. The fans were impressed with his connection with one teammate in particular.
The two were in very good form on Sunday, and most of the good chances Wolves created had those two involved at some point during the build-up.

After a quiet start to the season for £31.5m-valued Jota – as per Transfermarkt – the fans will now be hoping he can put together a strong run of form as we approach the second half of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Nuno Espirito has some work to do in one area of the pitch.
